Holly Fair
Once again the Winchester Soroptimists have held a successful Holly Fair, raising over £1700 for Wells for India and other supported charities.
The fair, which was held at St Swithuns gave visitors the chance to stock up with a variety of interesting and imaginative presents ready for Christmas or birthdays, or just to treat themselves. As well as the trade and craft stalls, which included jewellery, photographs, ethnic and other clothing, cards and gift wrapping, wood carving and paintings, there was also a very successful tombola. Light lunches and other refreshments were also served and much appreciated by both the visitors and storeholders/helpers!
