Our President's Message

My theme for this year is caring - for people, traditions and our heritage. Take a look at our programme of speakers and activities and please do join us for something that sparks your interest.

This year our fundraising efforts will go to Breast Cancer Campaign, St Nicholas Hospice and Tools with a Mission. It is always nice to meet in March each year to discuss how to distribute the proceeds of our hard work and this year's charities are ones close to each of our hearts.

We are not a big club in terms of membership, but we big in terms of generosity and effort, each one of us making a small effort in our own way which collectively add up to something very worthwhile.

New members are always welcome and gain much pleasure from making new friends, becoming more aware of women's lives globally and supporting very worthwhile causes. We all feel that, in our small way, someone, somewhere is benefitting from our efforts. If this does appeal to you, do come and see us!
