SI Stourbridge Links

SI Stourbridge has four official friendship links

They are

SI Vevey in Switzerland in the Federation of Europe

SI Antigua, SI Bootle and SI St. Augustine in Trinidad, all in the Federation of Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI)

These links are important to our organisation as they give members in both clubs the opportunity to get to know each other and by having good active links we can learn first hand about the culture and life in different countries. They also give the opportunity for travel and even practice language skills. We can often help clubs in a developing country with knowledge and support with projects. It is a vital way to improve Good Will and Understanding.

Members of SI Stourbridge support The All Saints Library Project - which is a project undertaken by Antigua.

Regular donations of money sent to the Club are used to refurbish premises and also facilitates the purchase of new books.
