SI South Shields and District Diary

The Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month (excluding August) at 7.30pm in the Prestige Hotel in South Shields.

Throughout the year members listen to different speakers on local and national issues, and for this special aniversary year there are various speakers on environmental issues planned as well as a host of fund raising activities and social events - the first being a plant and bric a brac stall at Westoe Village Fayre which has already boosted the Presidents Charity Fund by almost £1000. The fund will be distributed to local and international charities at the end of the current presidential term of office in April next year.

This year our Presidents' have chosen Chernobyl Continuity as their main charity and a sub committee has been formed by June Valente Membership Secretary to plan fund raising activities.
