Our President's Message

A warm welcome to the website of Soroptimist International Solihull. I hope you will enjoy browsing its pages and find much to interest you. You will find details of our projects, social events and monthly meetings, Underlying all that Soroptimists do is a common theme of service, fun and friendshp. My theme for this year is ‘Step Outside the Comfort Zone’. Women today face challenging issues and our programme offers an opportunity to increase our knowledge and understanding so that we can work together for a better world. I hope there is something for everyone and details can be found on the Diary page

Our charities this year are local and international - Water Aid and Solihull Young Carers Support Service. We all take the availability of water so much for granted that we forget the many parts of the world where it is such a precious commodity. Do join us on our Water Aid walks throughout the year. Locally, we propose to hold a number of fund raising events to support the young carers in Solihull

We welcome new members to our regular meetings held every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Homer Road, Solihull at 7.30 pm, or you may wish to just come along to get a ‘flavour’ of what our Club is all about. I can assure you of a very warm welcome!
