Our President's Message

Our President Mrs Yvonne Burdock says 'hello' and welcome to SI Peterborough.

I am looking forward to my year as President of SI Peterborough.

My theme for the year is "Embrace, Experience, Enjoy Soroptimism"

This year will see SI Peterborough 'Making a Difference - Moving Forward'

Our programme embraces Programme Action to the full with speakers ranging from Journey To India; Hospital Care in a War Zone; Project Aquabox.

We will continue with our local service commitments such as Shopmobility.

We will enjoy visiting the Romany Museum in Lincolnshire; we will hear of the work of a journalist and actress;

We will hear the wonderful story from our speaker discussing the 'Jewel in the Crown', Stamford.

My charity is Hospital at Home, celebrating 30 years from its beginnings - To aid our fundraising activities we plan a Beatle Drive; a Strawberry and Pymms afternoon and a Progressive Lunch.
