SI Lewisham and South East London Diary
SI Lewisham and South East London meet once a month on the second Monday of the month.
Our meeting venue is Stanstead Lodge, 260 Stanstead Road, Forest Hill SE23 at 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served during the evening and we usually have a guest speaker at most meetings.
We're a small but friendly group and welcome any newcomers to come and join us.
As well as our monthly meetings, we also hold fundraising events around the local area including Quiz Nights, Concerts, Garden Parties and Lunches. We have also taken to the streets in Catford to raise money and awareness of Water Aid.
Every two months or so, we meet up for a 'Nosh & Natters' dinner at a local restaurant - to socialise, get to know each other better and let our hair down!

Incorporation Workshop/Roadshow

The discussion regarding incorporation is ongoing, as is the consultative process with members. The club ballot seeking permission to continue the process to the next stage was carried with an overwhelming majority vote in favour on 23 January 2008. However, some members/clubs are still a little uncertain as to the implications of incorporation and require further clarification and it is hoped that the Roadshows will provide the opportunity to discuss such concerns and answer questions in an open forum.
It is envisaged that each Roadshow will last approximately 3 hours and for ease of travel members will be able to attend whichever Roadshow is most convenient for them to encourage as many members as possible to attend.
The Roadshow will address the issue of incorporation, but time will also be allocated to discuss the SIGBI Can Do Campaign 2008, Membership, PR and Programme.
There is one place available for a member of each club only.
