SI Kidderminster and District Diary
SI Kidderminser & District Club meets every first and third Thursdays of the month, exluding August. Our venue is the "Black Boy Hotel", Bewdley. We ask members to arrive at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start. We have a business meeting on the first thursday of the months and on the third Thursday we have a supper meeting with a guest speaker. Guests are welcome but by invititation.
Our future programme:
Thursday 19th July 2007 - We will have our Summer Outing with Supper at the Kemp (Day) Hospice, Kidderminster. We will be able to visit their newly opened garden and have a meal in their dining room.
Thursday 20th September 2007 - Tom Watson MP will be our guest speaker on the topic of "Working for Democracy"
Thursday 18th October 2007 - Michael Cashman MEP will talk about the European Parliament
Thursday 15th November 2007 - Penny Barber, Chief Executive of "Brook" will talk about campaigning to improve sexual health.
13th December 2007 - our Christmas Meal and Silent Auction
17th January 2008 - Judith Ford, NACRO, will talk about women foreign nationals in UK jails
21st February 2008 - Stephanie Peacock - a young woman - will speak about what lasting legacy she would like to be left by older women
20th March 2008 - A speaker from Friends of the Earch will talk about the challenges of climate change.
