Our President's Message

Welcome to the website of SI Kidderminster & District. Please browse over our site which we hope you find interesting.

Most of our members live within the boundaries of Wyre Forest District Council but two members live in Stourbridge and another in Tenbury Wells.

The Club was formed in 1948 and believes itself to be a friendly and welcoming club working with the core aims of Soroptimist International so that members are able to enjoy each others company whilst carrying out service according to their individual talents and abilities.

Over the past few years we have undertaken practical service renovating and providing toys for the local Social Services Children's contact room, we have provided art and craft materials for women in a local prison and we have raised funds for Asha Wyre Forest, a day resource for women unable to access mainstream resources because of personal disadvantage.

We have raised funds by organising a Murder Mystery Evening, Asparagus Suppers (we all appreciate good fod) and Summer BBQs. We support UN Projects targeting areas of the world with low standards of health care and education.
