Friendship Links
The Aireborough Club has friendship links with the following Clubs:
SI Mansfield & District
SI Kufstein, Austria
SI Guernsey
SI Seychelles, Victoria
SI Burdwan, India
Each link has a member assigned to be the contact with that Club.
In May 2007 18 members of our club went to Austria to visit our friendship club, Kufstein. One of our members visits Kufstein regularly, so a very frequent exchange of ideas takes place with our Austrian sisters!
We have established a new link with SI Burdwan in India. Our member who is the link with this club is making good progress with email communication. We have already been able to help the members in Burdwan with a good donation of money to help fund their projects in the town. Our Kufstein friendship link also helped us with this donation, so we feel that these friendship links are so valuable.
